Announcing the 2014 General Election

The SVGLS Board of Directors and the Elections Committee are pleased to announce the annual general election to fill several positions on the board.

WHEN:            Monday, October 20, 2014, from 5:30 PM to 9:45 PM

WHERE:          Sacramento Softball Complex

The positions that are available for election are:

Vice Commissioner (2 years)

Membership Coordinator (2 years)

C Division Representative (1 year)

D Division Representative (1 year)

Women’s Representative (1 Year)

Member-at-Large (2 years)

All SVGLS Members in good standing that have played in the Spring and/or Fall 2014 Season and that are current on their player fees are eligible to cast a vote in the election. You must show up in person in order to cast a ballot. Proxy voting is not permitted.

If you would like to run for one of the available positions, you must submit a letter of intent to the Membership Coordinator no later than Monday, September 29, 2014. For more information on the election process, please review the Elections Code at
